Delivery Policy
1. Delivery Hours
Orders placed at Oficina das Motas are shipped via GLS. Deliveries occur on weekdays, Monday to Friday, during business hours, excluding national holidays. For mainland Portugal, the maximum delivery time is up to 10 (ten) business days, starting from the date the order is shipped. In the event of non-delivery due to the recipient's absence, GLS will first attempt to deliver to a neighbour; if that is not possible, the order will be redirected to the nearest GLS Point, where it will be available for collection for 7 business days, upon presentation of an ID document. In the Autonomous Regions (Portuguese Islands), deliveries are made either to residential addresses or GLS Points. Whenever a new delivery attempt is necessary due to customer responsibility, an additional fee may be charged, regardless of the order value or type.
Note: In case of incorrect address and the correction requires a change in destination, the customer may be charged an additional administrative cost.
2. Delivery Time
Delivery times vary depending on the type of service and location. In mainland Portugal, orders are delivered within 3 to 10 business days after collection. In the Portuguese Islands, delivery times depend on the destination and shipping type, usually ranging from 3 to 10 business days.
3. Tracking Orders
After the shipment is confirmed, you will receive the tracking code for your order via email. With it, you can track the status of the delivery through our website or through the GLS website. The recipient will be notified in advance about the delivery and can receive the order at home.
4. Receiving the Order
At the time of delivery, check if the package is intact and if all items from the order are present. If there is any discrepancy, refuse the receipt and contact our customer service.
5. Shipping Costs
Shipping costs are calculated based on the order value and destination, and are always shown to the customer in the cart and at checkout, before the purchase is confirmed and paid. Where applicable, free shipping may be available above a minimum order value, shown at checkout.
